BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND OFFICERS
Mr. Terrence Chase, Chairman, Board of Directors – Mr. Chase, a native of New York City, NY, is a founder of MB2B and retired in 2018 after serving 20 years as the organization’s first President. He is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor of education degree in mathematics with an emphasis in elementary education. Mr. Chase also holds a master in counseling degree and has 20 years of experience as an educator, counselor and school administrator.
Mr. Curtis Pete, Vice Chairman, Board of Directors - Mr. Pete, a native of Longview, TX, joined the board of directors in 2023. He previously served as a mentor with MB2B for 13 years. His role as a mentor involved helping mentees achieve their educational goals through college/career readiness. Mr. Pete also served as a coach for academic bowl competitions. Mr. Pete currently volunteers to help youth in several capacities including coaching youth basketball, speaking at Career Day, and mentoring interns in Information Technology. Mr. Pete received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A & M University and is a software engineering professional.
Mr. Will C. Pugh, Jr., President and Director – Mr. Pugh, a native of Marks, MS, is a graduate of Jackson State University with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Pugh previously served as a mentor with MB2B for 9 years and was appointed President in 2018. He has been working with youth in various capacities for over 20 years. During his previous stint with MB2B, Mr. Pugh’s program focus involved academic bowl competitions, reading program and college/career readiness. He has over 15 years of experience in the accounting profession.
Mr. Jeremy Huff, Vice President and Director – Mr. Huff, a native of Dallas, TX, has served as a mentor with MB2B since 2023 and was appointed Vice President in 2025. He also is a former MB2B mentee. Mr. Huff is a graduate of Desoto High school and Colorado Technical University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Management with concentration in Logistics. He also served for six years in the United States Army with duty stations in Iraq and Germany. Mr. Huff is currently employed in the logistics field as a logistics manager.
Ms. Tasha Davis, Director - Ms. Davis, a native of Warren, OH, joined the board of directors in 2025 and brings both lived experience and professional expertise that deeply align with the organization's mission. Ms. Davis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources and a Master of Business Administration degree. A devoted mother, she has personally navigated and overcome many of the challenges that disproportionately impact underserved families. Her connection to MB2B is both personal and profound, her son is a graduate of the program, having gained critical guidance and support that helped shape his journey as a young Black male. Her passion for empowering others stems from her own story of resilience, and she brings that same drive and commitment to her role on the Board of Directors. As a Director, Ms. Davis is focused on expanding opportunities, fostering community partnerships, and ensuring that every young man in MB2B has the support needed to thrive.
